Paperwhites are non-hardy tazetta daffodils that can be forced and grown inside the home without any cold exposure, special handling, or treatment. Fun and easy to grow in pots, on water and/or a favorite vessel. Timeless beauty, sweet perfume, and absolute dependability have made Paperwhites Narcissus the absolute all-time favorite bulb for indoor forcing in winter. Clusters of pure white blooms will come 4-6 weeks after potting. Very easy to grow, no special handling or treatment required. Pot Paperwhites as soon as you receive them, or store them in a warm, dry place until you are ready to plant. Yes, this is quite the contrary to how regular daffodils should be handled. They are best rooted at cooler temperatures, below 60F. Once rooted, a somewhat warmer house temperature is preferred. But not too hot or too dry an environment, as it may abort flowering. Also, the less light they receive, the taller they will grow.
