Fritillaria persica, commonly called Persian Lily, is a bulbous perennial known for its plum purple to gray green flowers in spring. Each stem holds up to 30 bell-shaped flowers atop a sturdy stem clad with greenish gray leaves. This species is native to Israel, Jordan, Iran, Syria and Turkey.
